Guests must call prior to making a day trip to the Monastery to ascertain the availability of the sisters and the program of the Monastery. Please contact the Monastery by phone for questions or concerns at 910-572-3331.
Services
The Monastery accepts guests who wish to attend services. All services are conducted in the Greek language.
Attire
The grounds of the Holy Monastery are sacred and therefore guests should be dressed appropriately. Orthodox clergy must wear a cassock (raso) in the Monastery and an outer cassock (exoraso) in the services. Women are asked to wear modest skirts or dresses, long sleeves and must have their heads always covered with a scarf or veil. (No pants, shorts, miniskirts, or sleeveless clothing.) Men are asked to wear long pants and long-sleeved shirts.
Other Items
Smoking is not allowed.
We ask that children not roam freely throughout grounds but always remain under close parental supervision.
Please do not approach our dog or any other fenced in animals.
No photographs or videos are to be taken at any time, unless permission is granted by the abbess of the monastery.
