Visitor Information

We thank you for your understanding in complying with these requests.

Please contact the Monastery for questions or concerns at +1-910-572-3331. Guests must call prior to making a day trip to the Monastery to ascertain the availability of the sisters and the program of the Monastery.

The Monastery accepts guests who wish to attend services. All services are conducted in the Greek language.

The grounds of the Holy Monastery are sacred and therefore guests should be dressed appropriately. Orthodox clergy must wear a cassock (raso) in the Monastery and an outer cassock (exoraso) in the services. Women are asked to wear modest skirts or dresses, long sleeves and must have their heads always covered with a scarf or veil. (No pants, shorts, miniskirts, or sleeveless clothing.) Men are requested to wear long pants and long-sleeved shirts.

Smoking is not allowed. We ask that children not roam freely throughout grounds but always remain under close parental supervision. Please do not approach our dog or any other fenced in animals. No photographs or videos are to be taken at any time, unless permission is granted by the Mother Superior.

"God forgives easily, by just opening Him the door of your soul."
